I am soooooo sad ... My doctor is leaving - he's moving to Toronto, Canada. I honestly feel like I'm losing my best friend *sniff*
I've been seeing Dr. Anil Maheshwari since I moved here in 2000. I actually have a relationship with him --- patient-doctor kind of relationship. I feel well taken care of. I trust him. A lot of people take that for granted, but having a good relationship with your doctor actually does wonders - your whole perspective on not only them, but your overall health changes.
To be honest, it's a little depressing for me that he's leaving - but that's purely my selfish reasons ... I don't think I can find another doctor that I'll feel actually cares for my well-being ... Not just as a patient but as a person.
I am happy for him and wish him goodlyck in his future endeavours in Canada ... I KNOW he's gonna be a hit there with his patients just as he is here (yes, a LOT of his patients are upset he's leaving).
So, if you're in Totonto, Canada and are looking for - not a good, but GREAT doctor, look up Dr. Anil Maheshwari. He rocks.
